Firebird Foundation Recipients Present Ongoing Work at ELAR

September 9 - 11, 2026

The 3rd Language Documentation and Archiving During the Decade of Indigenous Languages Conference, organized by the Endangered Languages Archive (ELAR) and the Pacific and Regional Archive for Digital Sources in Endangered Cultures (PARADISEC), was held in Berlin, Germany, and online. Of the conference presentations, seven individuals were prior recipients of a Firebird Foundation Research Grant. The Firebird Foundation would like to recognize these presenters for their ongoing work in indigenous language and oral literature documentation and collection, and we’re proud to see the successes of our grantees:

  • Carolina Rodríguez Alzza, Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research Grant, 2025

  • Noemy Condori Arias, Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research Grant, 2024

  • Danielle Barth, Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research Grant, 2025
